ALEV ÖZSOY

Prof. Dr. ALEV ÖZSOY serves as a Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry, where she has maintained continuous faculty appointment since 2012. She provides clinical care specializing in Oral and Dental Health at Unkapani Medipol University Dental Hospital, offering services in both German and English languages.

Prof. Özsoy's research program centers on advanced restorative materials and adhesion science, with particular expertise in bulk-fill composites, microleakage mechanisms, and clinical performance of adhesive systems. Her laboratory investigations consistently address critical challenges in dental material interfaces, including polymerization shrinkage, dentin bonding protocols, and surface modification techniques. Clinical interests extend to dental trauma management and oral health diagnostics.

Publication analysis reveals sustained focus on material performance evaluation (2013-2019), with 12+ studies on composite resin systems, 8+ on adhesion protocols, and 5+ clinical follow-up investigations.
