AJ Collins

AJ Collins is a Lecturer in Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles. With a BFA from Otis (2013), Collins combines artistic practice, education, and carpentry to create multidisciplinary works including sculptures, assemblages, sound pieces, performances, and paintings. Their art explores 'psycho-sedimental' relationships with prefabricated materials, often collaborating with artists like Kelly Wall.

Research interests focus on experimental material use, hybrid art forms, and site-specific installations. Exhibitions span international venues, reflecting a dynamic engagement with contemporary art practices.
