A. Douglas Melamed serves as Scholar-in-Residence at the USC Gould School of Law and Visiting Fellow at Stanford Law School, following his tenure as Professor of the Practice of Law at Stanford (2014-2022) and Scholar in Residence there (2022-2023). His distinguished career spans government service as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice (1996-2001), corporate leadership as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Intel Corporation (2009-2014), and private practice as partner and chair of the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group at WilmerHale (1971-2009).
