Dr. A Longoria (they/them) is an Associate Professor and Chair of Secondary Education at the Woodring College of Education, Western Washington University. They also serve as Director of the Center for Education, Equity and Diversity (CEED). Longoria's work bridges teacher education theory and practice, focusing on multicultural education, identity-sustaining pedagogies, and intersections of Queer and Latinx issues in education. They co-authored Creating a Home in Schools: Sustaining Identities for Black, Indigenous, and Teachers of Color with Francisco Ríos.
