Ádám Albert is an Associate Professor at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where he serves as Head of the Department of Art Anatomy, Drawing and Geometry and Director of the College of Art and Art Theory. His academic journey includes a DLA (Doctor of Liberal Arts) from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (2005-2010), an MA in Graphic Arts (2003) and an MA in History (2003) from Károli Gáspár University. He received his 'dr. habil' degree in 2015.
Albert's research explores the intersection of visual arts, art theory, and art education, with particular focus on anatomical drawing, contemporary art practices, and pedagogical methodologies. His exhibitions and publications demonstrate innovative approaches to art interpretation and education, particularly regarding the use of plaster casts in academic settings.
Analysis of Albert's publications reveals consistent themes in art pedagogy, contemporary art criticism, and visual communication theories. His recent works focus on art revitalization projects and critical analyses of Hungarian art scenes, while earlier publications examine German art movements and artist methodologies.

As Director of the College of Art and Art Theory since 2011, Albert leads the Gypsum working group and has curated exhibitions exploring the role of plaster in academic drawing.
