His work explores how digital games, multimodal environments, and AI technologies can enhance language learning outcomes, translator competence development, and assessment methodologies. He has pioneered the integration of game-based learning in translation and interpreting education, developing specialized tools like "The Conference Interpreter" and "Subtitle Legends" to address specific challenges in language training. His recent publications reveal a clear trajectory toward increasingly sophisticated applications of gaming technology in language education, with recent work exploring personality assessment through game-based testing, human vs. machine translation comparison, and the psychological factors affecting localization testing. The research demonstrates a progression from basic implementation of digital games to more nuanced investigations of cognitive processes, individual differences, and professional skill development in translator training contexts.
