Prof. Dr. Christoph Oberlack is an affiliated Professor of Sustainability Governance at the University of Bern's Institute of Geography and the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE). His work focuses on institutional barriers to climate adaptation, land-use governance, and sustainable development. He holds a PhD in Institutional Economics of Climate Adaptation from the University of Freiburg (2015).
