Dr. Janine Hauer is a Researcher at the Institute for Social and Cultural Anthropology within the Philosophical Faculty I at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Previous research centered on urbanization, land-use change, and futures in Burkina Faso, supported by extensive fieldwork from 2014–2018. Methodologically, she emphasizes ethnographic collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches.
