Dr. Darryl Domingo is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Memphis, coordinating the Literary and Cultural Studies Concentration. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto (2009). His research focuses on late 17th- and 18th-century British literature and culture, particularly examining how amusement, leisure, and commercialization influenced literary forms and rhetorical practices. He has held prestigious fellowships at institutions like UCLA and the Newberry Library. His work bridges literary analysis with cultural history, exploring topics such as satire, theatrical performance, and the interplay between print culture and societal norms.
