Prof. Jordi Burés is an ICREA Research Professor at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), leading a research group focused on mechanistic studies of chemical reactions to improve synthetic methods and catalytic processes. His academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Barcelona, postdoctoral work at The Scripps Research Institute, and roles at Imperial College London and The University of Manchester, where he became a Full Professor before joining ICIQ.
