Dr. Ut Na Sio is a Lecturer in Work Psychology at the Sheffield University Management School. Her research focuses on cognitive factors influencing individual and group problem-solving, particularly creativity and innovation, and how solutions can be enhanced through approaches like incubation, sleep, and task-switching. Research interests emphasize cognitive processes underlying creative problem-solving, with a focus on manipulating these processes to boost creative thinking in both individual and group settings. Dr. Sio supervises PhD students in areas like creative style measurement, interruptions in problem-solving, and group cognition. She leads the Institute of Work Psychology (IWP) research group and is actively involved in experiential learning modules for MBA students. Her work integrates theoretical frameworks with real-world applications, emphasizing practical insights for organizational and educational contexts.
