Dr. Joanne Cole is a Reader in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering department at Brunel University London . With a PhD from the ZEUS experiment at DESY (1999), she transitioned to the CMS experiment at CERN in 2005. Her roles include Chair of the Tracker Editorial Board and Secretary of the CMS Tracker Institution Board , reflecting her leadership in experimental particle physics.
