Dra. Zulay Diney Pardo Botero is an Instrumental Scientist and currently serves as the Responsible for the NMR Lab and Chemical Facilities for Molecular Analysis and Characterization at IMDEA Nanociencia. She also manages the implementation of a Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) at the Nanomaterials Characterization Service under Prof. Emilio M. Pérez. Her research focuses on the Chemistry of Low-Dimensional Materials and the development of ultrafast NMR pulse sequences for real-time monitoring of organic reactions. Education: B.S. in Chemistry (2006), Universidad del Valle, Colombia M.S. in Organic Synthesis (2009), Universidad Complutense de Madrid Ph.D. (2014), Universidad Complutense de Madrid Her work includes a visiting scholar period at the Weizmann Institute of Science (2010) under Prof. Lucio Frydman. She joined IMDEA Nanociencia in 2016 and collaborates with Prof. Antonio Herrera and Roberto Martínez-Álvarez on NMR methodologies. Her expertise spans nanomaterial characterization, analytical chemistry, and quality systems in research laboratories.
