Dr. Eng. LUCACIU Radu is a researcher and academic affiliated with the Department of Communications at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politehnica University of Timișoara. His career spans over two decades, beginning as a trainer (1999–2002), followed by roles as an assistant (2002–2020), and currently serving as a project manager since 2020. He holds a PhD in Engineering awarded in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Miranda Naforniță. His work spans international collaborations with institutions like the University of Central Lancashire (UK), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and others. Administratively, he has served on the Communications Department Council and organized academic events, including the ISETC conference.
