Dr. Grace Davies is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS), University of Queensland. She completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham, specializing in biodegradation testing methods for synthetic polymer microparticles in agricultural soils. Her current research focuses on developing analytical techniques to detect microplastics and nanoplastics in human biological samples. Her broader research interests encompass plastic-associated chemical contaminants and monitoring environmental fate of biodegradable polymers. Dr. Davies contributes to environmental health sciences through advanced contamination tracking methodologies.
