Matthias Schmidt

Dr. Matthias Schmidt is a Researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), leading the high-resolution imaging team at ProVIS - Centre for Chemical Microscopy. He specializes in advanced microscopy techniques including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), helium-ion microscopy (HIM), and confocal Raman microscopy for environmental and biological applications.
