Dr. Xiaorui Jiang is a Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Sheffield's Information School. Previously, he held roles including Lecturer at Zhejiang University of Technology (2013–2016), Senior Researcher in NLP at Japan's National Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (2015–2016), and positions at Aston University and Coventry University. His research focuses on NLP applications in scientometrics, healthcare, law, and digital humanities. He has secured significant research funding and received awards such as the Academic Staff of the Year Award (2024).
