Eugenio Donati is a Lecturer in Audio/Sound Engineering at the School of Computing and Engineering, University of West London. He holds a PhD in Audio Electronics and Bio-signal Processing, focusing on voice-to-MIDI systems using biosignals and AI. His research interests include bioimpedance measurements, speech and singing analysis, AI-driven audio applications, and medical acoustics. Donati is affiliated with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the UK Acoustic Network (UKAN+). He teaches courses such as BSc Sound Engineering, MSc Digital Audio Engineering, and MSc Artificial Intelligence for Sound and Music. His work bridges engineering and healthcare, with contributions to cough detection systems and robotic neuromorphic interfaces.
