Dr. Nate Zettna is a Lecturer in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Sydney Business School's Work and Organisational Studies department. He holds a BA (Hons Class I) and PhD from the University of Sydney. His research focuses on team effectiveness, leadership dynamics, and age-inclusive workplaces across sectors like healthcare, education, and financial services. He currently serves as Country Convenor for Thailand at the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre and sits on the Higher Degree by Research Scholarships Subcommittee. His work has been published in top-tier journals including Human Resource Management , Personnel Psychology , and Journal of Organizational Behavior . Notable contributions include studies on leadership succession impacts, role clarity in social care, and intergenerational workforce management. He has received the prestigious John C. Harsanyi Graduate Medal and secured grants like the 2025 'Impact of Leadership on Collective Mental Health' project. Zettna teaches courses such as International Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis, and collaborates with institutions like Curtin University on transformative work design initiatives. His research bridges academic theory with practical applications in improving workplace mental health and organizational performance.
