Dr. Susan Mayson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Monash University, specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM), small and entrepreneurial firms, and gender relations in the workplace. She serves as Director of Education in her department and is an Associate Fellow of the Monash Education Academy. Dr. Mayson has received multiple teaching awards, including the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award (2011) and a Dean’s Commendation for Teaching Excellence (2009). Her research focuses on HRM in SMEs, social enterprises, and higher education. Recent projects include analyzing women’s employment outcomes in general practice and exploring HRM strategies in fast-growth firms. She collaborates with international scholars and has contributed to publications like the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Gender, Work and Organization . Dr. Mayson’s teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including courses on HRM and managing diversity and inclusion.
