Dr. Ioannis Kaparias is an Associate Professor in Transport Engineering at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Transportation Research Group (TRG). He holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London and a PhD from the same institution. His academic career includes roles at City, University of London, and postdoctoral research at Imperial College. He is a Fellow of Advance HE, a member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT), and serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the IET Intelligent Transport Systems journal.
