Prof. Cengiz Kahraman is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from ITU and has held numerous academic and administrative roles, including Head of Department (2010–2013) and Vice Dean (2004–2008). His research focuses on fuzzy logic, multi-criteria decision making, engineering economics, and statistical analysis. He has supervised over 60 theses and led projects funded by TUBITAK and private institutions, including studies on fuzzy decision support systems, warranty cost analysis, and performance evaluation systems.
