Antoinette Schoar is the Stewart C. Myers-Horn Family Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from Germany. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, fintech, consumer finance, and cryptocurrencies. She co-founded ideas42, a nonprofit applying behavioral economics to social issues, and co-directs MIT's Consumer Finance Initiative.
