João Nuno Costa Gonçalves is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University in Braga, where he serves as Coordinator of the Degree in Applied Data Science and the scientific area of Computing and Data Science. His work bridges theoretical advancements with practical implementation in supply chain management, inventory optimization, and decision support systems. He has developed numerous frameworks that help organizations transition toward data-driven decision-making processes, especially in complex industrial contexts like automotive supply chains.
