Junjie Zhang is a Professor at Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment and Director of the Initiative for Sustainable Investment at Duke Kunshan University. Previously, he held roles as Associate Professor at UC San Diego and Volkswagen Visiting Chair in Sustainability at Tsinghua University's Schwarzman College. He founded Duke Kunshan's Environmental Research Center and International Master of Environmental Policy Program. His research focuses on climate change economics, green finance, and sustainable development, with particular attention to energy transition and environmental policy in China.
