Dr. Ali Eshraghi is a Research Fellow in Project Leadership at the School of Project Management, University of Sydney. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh (2017), where his research focused on IT innovations in voluntary organizations through a sociological lens. Previously, he conducted ARC-funded postdoctoral research at the University of Sydney's Business School, examining end-user experimentation with workplace technologies. His career also includes a research role at Sharif University of Technology, investigating informalities in innovation projects. His research interests center on the design, implementation, and societal impacts of digital technologies, emphasizing socio-technical interactions. He employs qualitative methods and multidisciplinary approaches to explore how social actors and technological objects co-create innovative ideas. Key themes include AI in project management, knowledge management partnerships with AI, and digital divides in organizational contexts. Ali’s publications span journals like Scandinavian Journal of Management and Business Horizons , addressing topics such as temporary organizations, AI-driven knowledge systems, and digital natives vs. immigrants.
