Associate Professor
Gabriella D'Orazi is an Associate Professor at UniCamillus University of Rome, specializing in General Pathology. She holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine (1992) from the University of Rome La Sapienza and a Master's in Dietetics and Human Nutrition (2003). Her career includes roles as a University Researcher (1992–2017) and Associate Professor (2017–2024) at the University ‘G. D’Annunzio’ of Chieti, alongside visiting appointments at the National Cancer Institute (NCI, NIH, Bethesda) and the National Cancer Institute ‘Regina Elena’ in Rome. Her research focuses on Molecular Oncology, particularly the regulatory mechanisms of tumor suppressor p53 and HIPK2 in cancer progression and therapy response. She has authored over 137 peer-reviewed publications (H-index: 47), is a member of editorial boards for international journals, and is recognized as a Top Italian Scientist in Biomedical Sciences (2024). Teaching responsibilities include Pathology and Pathophysiology across multiple degree programs at UniCamillus, as well as roles in academic governance, such as coordinating courses and serving on commissions. Her work integrates translational research, drug development, and interdisciplinary approaches to cancer biology.
