David Hui

David Hui, MD, MSc, is a tenured Professor in the Department of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, serving as Director of Supportive & Palliative Care Research. He holds dual certifications as a medical oncologist and palliative care specialist. His research focuses on symptom management, integration of oncology and palliative care, and prognostication in advanced cancer. He leads over 300 peer-reviewed publications and multiple NIH-funded clinical trials (R01, R21).

Education includes MD, MSc (Biochem), and MSc (Pt Based Biol Research) degrees.
