Erika Ferrari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Geological Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her research focuses on inorganic medicinal chemistry , particularly in metal-based drug development , metal trafficking studies , and advanced NMR techniques for complex matrices. She leads projects on inorganic drug delivery systems and theranostic agents , with significant work on curcumin derivatives and bioactive glasses.
