Sergei Maslov is a Full Professor and Bliss Faculty Scholar in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), affiliated with the Grainger College of Engineering. His research integrates theoretical physics, computational biology, and microbiology to study microbial ecosystems, epidemic dynamics, and systems-level biological processes.
