Kevin Lin

Kevin Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington, joining in Fall 2023. His research focuses on developing statistical methods for analyzing single-cell data to uncover cellular mechanisms in diseases like Alzheimer’s and immune resistance. He holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. His work bridges computational methods with biological questions, emphasizing matrix factorization, network modeling, and changepoint detection.
