Dr. Zbigniew B. Gaś serves as a Professor at WSEI Academy's Faculty of Human Sciences with over 40 years of academic experience. He is a leading Polish psychology researcher and national consultant for the Ministry of Education and Science, National Bureau for Drug Prevention, and State Agency for Solving Alcohol-Related Problems, specializing in systemic preventive solutions.
His research centers on functionality/dysfunctionality in children and adolescents, developmental dilemmas in early adulthood, preventive needs diagnosis, and psychosocial determinants of family/peer violence. He founded the Lublin School of Psychoprophylaxis, integrating research with practical applications like the nationally implemented Professional Activation Program and RE-start Program.
