Zack Abrams

Zack Abrams is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo's Department of Linguistics and Nordic Studies. His research focuses on Chronotopes in High North Counter-Narratives and the role of fiction in inspiring climate action. He holds an MSc and PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh.

• Research Interests: Ecocriticism, Climate Change in Fiction, Postmodernism, Fiction Writing, Nordic Literature, and Environmental Humanities.
• Current Project: Affective Response to Environmental Change in Literature (Eco-Emotions).

His work bridges literary analysis and environmental advocacy, examining how narrative structures and temporal/spatial frameworks shape perceptions of climate realities.
