Yunhao Zhang

Yunhao Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Digital Narrative Arts at the School of Art, Texas Tech University. He holds a B.F.A. in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design. His career spans major studios including Disney, Blizzard Entertainment, and Alcon Entertainment, where he contributed to high-profile Hollywood projects. In 2023, he founded Shadow Dance Media, a creative studio based in Philadelphia.

Zhang's research explores animation, digital storytelling, and visual narrative design. His work emphasizes character-driven stories and experimental 3D animation techniques, as demonstrated in projects like The Hungry Buddhists and The NeoClouds.
