Yun Fan

Yun Fan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Previously, she served on the faculty at the University of Houston and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Her research focuses on capital market-based accounting issues, including financial statement misclassification, portfolio approaches to earnings management, and corporate voluntary disclosures. Her work has been published in leading journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Management Science.

At OU, she teaches intermediate accounting and has co-taught doctoral seminars in accounting research. She maintains active involvement in academic advising and curriculum development.
