Yuka Imamine

Yuka Imamine is a Professor of Piano at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, where she has been a faculty member since 2002. She is affiliated with the Institute for Artistic Instrumental Studies and the Institute for School Music. Her career spans solo performances with renowned orchestras, chamber music recitals across Europe and Asia, and active participation as a jury member in international piano competitions.

• Education: Studied Western history in Japan, piano at Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, and furthered studies at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
• Studied under Professors K. Schilde, M. Schäfer, M. Höhenrieder, and S. Perticaroli.

Her research and performance focus on piano repertoire, chamber music, and pedagogical approaches to solo piano performance. She has received critical acclaim for her solo CDs, including works by Schubert, Ravel, and Beethoven.
