Yujie Zhan

Yujie Zhan serves as Professor and Area Coordinator for Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (OB/HRM) at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University, where she leads academic initiatives in workplace behavioral research.

Her research program critically examines psychological dynamics in modern workplaces through six interconnected domains:

• Work stress, coping, and psychological well-being
• Emotion and emotion regulation at work
• Emotional labor and service employees
• Older worker employment and retirement
• Age dynamics in organizational contexts
• Work-nonwork life interface challenges

This integrated approach reveals how emotional regulation strategies impact service industry resilience while addressing systemic challenges faced by aging workforces in evolving labor markets.
