About
Yuan Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Science at Michigan State University, affiliated with the Cell & Molecular Biology Program and Genetics & Genome Sciences Program. Their research focuses on dissecting mammalian genetic programs that govern germ cell development using pluripotent stem cells, mouse knockout models, and long-term in vitro culture of spermatogonial stem cells.
Research Interests:
- Elucidating germ cell lineage specification from pluripotent states
- Analyzing spermatogonial self-renewal and differentiation mechanisms
- Investigating mitochondrial dynamics in reproductive biology
- Studying transcription factor networks in developmental processes
