Yu Chen is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University, State University of New York. He leads the Ubiquitous Smart & Sustainable Computing (US2C) Lab and serves as Director of the Center for Information Assurance and Cybersecurity (CIAC). His research focuses on Trust, Security, and Privacy in Edge-Fog-Cloud Computing, IoT, and Smart Cities. Dr. Chen holds a PhD from the University of Southern California (2006), with prior research under Professors Kai Hwang and Anthony F. J. Levi. His work has been funded by NSF, DoD, AFOSR, and industrial partners, yielding over 200 publications. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and SPIE, and a member of ACM.
