Yongjun Choi is an Adjunct Lecturer in Korean at Columbia University. He holds an MA in Comparative Linguistics from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and a BA from Kyoto University of Education. His research focuses on the verb systems of Korean and Japanese, informed by decades of teaching experience at institutions including Montclair State University, New York University, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, as well as language schools in Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo from 2001–2011.
