Yolanda Taylor-Statom

Yolanda Taylor-Statom holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Trevecca Nazarene University, where she currently serves as the Director of Teacher Education and Initial Licensure Officer for the School of Education. She also acts as the Research Chair for the Specialist in Accountability and Instructional Leadership program.

Her professional background includes 30 years at the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, where she worked as a teacher, literacy coach, and assistant principal. Her research interests focus on educational leadership, instructional strategies, school accountability, and supporting economically disadvantaged students.
