Yoko Inoue is a multidisciplinary artist and part-time faculty member at Bennington College in the School of Visual Arts. Her work bridges art, anthropology, and socio-political critique through sculpture, installation, and performance art.

Her research explores cultural commodification, globalization's impact on traditional heritage, and food justice. She uses ceramic mediums to transform mass-produced objects into installations that critique economic and cultural dynamics.
Inoue has received prestigious awards such as the Guggenheim Fellowship, Anonymous Was A Woman Award, and multiple NYFA Fellowships. She has participated in international residencies at Civitella Ranieri, .ekwc, and Santa Fe Art Institute, among others.
Her exhibitions span global institutions like the Brooklyn Museum, UCLA, and Johannesburg Art Gallery. She has also served on advisory committees at Art in General and New York Foundation for the Arts.
