Ying Yang

Professor Ying Yang leads biomaterials and tissue engineering research at Keele University's School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering. Her work focuses on smart materials for regenerative medicine applications across multiple tissue types.

Current projects include nanofiber-based stem cell expansion, limbal stem cell niche replication, and blood vessel fabrication. Teaching includes Biomaterials and Human Anatomy modules.

Laboratory capabilities include nanofiber fabrication, FTIR spectroscopy, and optical coherence elastography for non-invasive monitoring.
