Dr. Ying Chen is an Assistant Professor in Atmospheric Science at the University of Birmingham's School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences. An expert in climate change and air quality, Dr. Chen focuses on aerosol-cloud-climate interactions, sustainable energy, and climate extremes. Holding a PhD from Leipzig University (2017) and MSc/BSc from Peking and Nanjing Universities, Dr. Chen teaches in Birmingham's MSc Air Pollution Management and Control program.
