About
Dr. Yeping Wu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland. Their research focuses on caveolae biology, oxidative stress response, and their roles in cancer progression, particularly ovarian and prostate cancers. Wu has contributed to studies on Cavin proteins, lipid peroxidation, and autophagy-dependent exosome secretion.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), The University of Queensland (2019)
Research interests include caveolae formation, oxidative stress regulation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), apoptosis mechanisms, and autophagy/exosome dynamics. Recent work (2023–2025) explores structural flexibility of Cavin1 domains and NRF2 pathway regulation via caveolae. Earlier studies (2014–2017) investigate chemopreventive flavonoids and MDM2’s role in cancer metastasis.
