Dr. Yağmur Nil Doğan is an Associate Professor at Gaziantep University, İslahiye Vocational School, Veterinary Medicine Department. She holds an ORCID iD and is affiliated with YÖK (Turkish Council of Higher Education).

Her research focuses on food safety, microbial quality of animal products, biogenic amines, and public health risks in food systems. She investigates the role of Lactic Acid Bacteria in fermented foods and the impact of toxins like aflatoxins and antibiotics in milk and fish.
Recent publications highlight seasonal variations in aflatoxin levels, antibiotic resistance in Enterococcus, and microbial interactions in dairy farms. She has contributed to understanding oxidative stress markers in buffalo milk and probiotic effects on poultry.
She has led projects on lactic acid bacteria in fermented foods, antibiotic residues in aquaculture, and starter cultures for meat preservation. Her role as Department Head (2021-2028) reflects leadership in veterinary education.
