Witold Modrzejewski

Dr. Witold Modrzejewski is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arts in Poznań (UAP), where he serves as Head of the 6th Graphic Design Studio—Spatial and Intermedia Graphics. He also lectures at the DaVinci Collegium and the Fashion School, and has held administrative roles including Department Head, Chairman of the Program Council, and UAP Senator.

His research and artistic practice focus on new media, postartistic practices, archival art, and socially engaged art, often addressing themes of political transformation and contemporary social issues. He is a graphic designer, set designer, and curator who collaborates with festivals like Malta Festival, Animator, and Pyrkon.

Modrzejewski has participated in international projects such as 'Bunt: Nowe Ekspresije' (Rebellion: New Expressions) and is a member of the People of Art Grupa Działań (Activity Group) and Grupa 404. His work has been exhibited globally, including installations like Herostratus' Ark (2012), Black-figure Painting (2013), and Russian School (2022).
