Willie Carpenter

Willie Carpenter is an Instructor in the College of Nursing at Creighton University, where he has worked since August 2021. With 15+ years of experience as a pediatric bedside nurse at a teaching hospital, he transitioned to academia after earning his Master's degree in Nursing Education. He previously served as adjunct faculty at Roseman University while maintaining clinical practice.

Willie joined Creighton to be closer to family and brings a unique perspective shaped by his late-start nursing career and two decades in food and beverage prior to healthcare. He contributes to nursing education through hands-on clinical instruction and curriculum development.
