Marika Chunyk

Marika Chunyk is a full-time Associate Professor at Roseman University, specializing in ICU experience, Cardiology, and Adult Health. With over 10 years as a registered nurse in critical care units (TICU, PICU, MICU, CVICU) and experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) since 2017, she combines clinical expertise with academic teaching. Her research interests include depression screenings, cardiology, and infection control.

• Education: RN Associate Degree (Highline Community College), BSN (Nevada State College, 2014), MSN/APRN (UNLV, 2016).

Teaching focuses on Cardiology, Hepatobiliary, Shock, Burns/Trauma, Renal, Immunology, Perioperative, Adult Health I, and II. Affiliated with AANP and ANCC. Currently pursuing a PhD and an avid marathon runner with a goal to complete races in all states and continents.
