Professor William Whyte is a Professor of Social and Architectural History at St John's College, University of Oxford. He chairs the editorial board of the Oxford Review of Education and serves as Senior Responsible Owner for the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Oxford’s largest capital project. His research bridges architecture and modern history, focusing on institutions like universities, churches, and civic spaces.
